GALA ENTERTAINMENT FAQS
What kind of music do you play at a gala?
I can curate a mix of classical, contemporary, and elegant instrumental pieces that enhance the atmosphere without distracting from conversation or programming. The music is selected to support the event’s tone, whether that’s refined, inspiring, or celebratory.
How long do you typically play at gala events?
Most galas include about 1–3 hours of live music, often during the cocktail hour, dinner service, or transitions between speakers and activities. I’ll work with you to build a schedule that fits your flow of events.
Will amplification be needed when you perform?
It depends on the size of the venue. I perform on an electroacoustic harp, which can plug directly into your venue’s sound system for clear, balanced amplification that still preserves the harp’s natural tone. I’m happy to coordinate with your AV team ahead of time to ensure everything integrates seamlessly with your event setup.
What is required to secure our event date?
To secure your date, I require a signed contract and a booking fee. The remaining balance is usually due one week before the event. This process ensures that your date is reserved exclusively for you, allowing me to focus on preparing the music and details that will make your event truly special.
