Having been through the planning process of my own wedding, I know how many details there are to manage and think through! I've played for hundreds of weddings and events, and my goal is to make the music one of the easiest elements of your ceremony. I'll guide you through the music planning process and take care of everything so it feels seamless, stress-free, and exactly as you imagined.

Common Concerns with Live Harp Music:

Will the harp be loud enough to be heard in our venue?
I perform on an electroacoustic harp that connects directly to sound systems, delivering a clear, rich sound that effortlessly fills your venue. For smaller, more intimate spaces, amplification may not be necessary, but we’ll discuss the best setup for your ceremony during our initial meeting. If your event is outdoors, I can also provide discreet amplification to ensure the music carries beautifully.

What if we want music that’s not typically played on harp?
The harp is incredibly versatile and can adapt to a wide range of genres. I’m always happy to learn new arrangements or create custom versions of songs to match your preferences and make the music uniquely yours.

Does the harp require special care or conditions during the event?
I handle all instrument care and can advise on ideal placement to protect the harp and ensure the best sound.

​What types of music can you perform at our wedding?
I offer a wide variety of genres including, but not limited to, classical, pop/contemporary, film soundtracks, and ambient music. If you have a specific song in mind, feel free to share it during our consultation - I will do my very best accommodate it or suggest a similar option that works beautifully on the harp!

What is required to secure our event date?
To secure your date, I require a signed contract and a booking fee. The remaining balance is due 1 week before the ceremony. This process ensures that your date is reserved exclusively for you, allowing me to focus on preparing the music and details that will make your day truly special.

What do I need to provide at the venue for you?
I typically provide all the equipment I need, but specific requirements for your space can be discussed during our music consultation meeting.

Do you attend the wedding rehearsal?
Attending the rehearsal isn’t typically necessary unless there are complex timing cues or multiple moving parts. However, I’m happy to coordinate with your planner or officiant in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly.

​Do you play for outdoor weddings?
Yes! I’m happy to perform outdoors as long as there’s adequate protection from direct sun, rain, and wind to keep both the harp and equipment safe. We can discuss these details further during your consultation.
